German	Schild durch eingeschweifte grüne Spitze, darin auf schwarzem Schildfuß ein goldenes Stollenmundloch mit schwarzer Öffnung und mit aufstehender goldener Fichte gespalten, vorne in Silber ein durchgehendes rotes Kreuz, hinten in schwarz ein silberner Schrägbalken, belegt mit drei schwarzen Eberköpfen.

Origin/meaning

The arms symbolise the former rulers of the area: the boar heads of the Counts of Freusburg, the cross of the State of Trier and in the lower half the entrance to a mine. The latter refers to the longtime mining in the area.
