The arms were officially adopted on ??

The arms are those of the last archbishop of Narbonne, [[Arthur-Richard Dillon]] (1763-1790), as the village was a possession of the archdiocese.

See also : [[Bize-Minervois]], [[Gruissan]], [[Alaigne]] and [[Routier (Aude)|Routier]], which use the same arms as they were also owned by the diocese.

In 1686 the arms for the village showed the arms of Archbishop [[Pierre de Bonzi]] (1673-1703).
