German Im Wellenschnitt geteilt von Silber und Blau, oben ein durchgehendes rotes Balkenkreuz, unten eine steigende goldene Spitze, darin eine grüne Traube am hinteren zweier an den Enden gekreuzten grünen Weintrieben mit je einem Blatt.

Origin/meaning

The cross refer to the State of Trier, to which the area historically belonged. The blue lower half and wavy division line symbolise the Saar river. The point with grapes symbolise the Ayler Kupp wine hills.
