German	In Blau ein goldener, rotbedachter Turm mit drei Schallöffnungen, belegt mit einem roten Schildchen, darin ein silberner Löwe. Die Turmspitze ist mit einem goldenen Kreuz besetzt. Sie wird von zwei goldenen sechszackigen Sporenrädern begleitet.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the tower of the local church, built in 1888 on the spot of the old medieval church. The small shield is the arms of the Beninga von Grimersum family, who lived in the local castle. The spurs are taken from the arms of the city of Norden.
