Template:Sweden KOPPARBERG
Province (Landskap): Västmanland
County (Län): Örebro län
Incorporated into : 1962 Ljusnarsberg
Official blazon
I fält av silver en av vågskuror bildad blå stolpe, åtföljd på var sida av ett kopparmärke ovanför en låga, samtliga röda; det hela inom en röd bård.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 2, 1951.
The arms are based on the seal of the Nya Kopperberg hundred, known since 1640. The arms show the many local rivers and symbols for the copper mining and melting ovens (flames). To distinguish the arms with those from Ljusnarsberg, a bordure was added.
