- (fi) Sinisessä kentässä alapuolelta sahakoroinen hirsi; saaneena yläja alapuolella perunankukka; kaikki hopeaa, kukkien emiöt kultaa.
- (sv) I blått fält en nedtill medelst en såg skura bildad bjälke, åtföljd ovanför och nedanför av en potatisblomma; allt av silver, blommornas ståndare av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 1, 1968.
The arms show a saw blade for the (former) importance of the timbe rindustry, and two potato flowers for the common cultivation of potatoes in the area.
