Province : Limburg
Incorporated into : 1977 Voeren

Wapen van Sint-Pieters-Voeren

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 9, 1988.

The arms show the arms of the Teutonic Order, which acquired the village in 1242 and the village remained in their possession until the end of the 18th century. As no historical seals were known, the arms of the Order were chosen, with the local patron saint, St. Peter, as supporter.
