Hopeisessa kentässä punainen, peittämätön pystyyn ladottu sysimiilu, sen yläpuolella painanteisen pilvikoron rajoittama musta yliskenttä (lakio), jossa raudanmerkki ja sen kummallakin puolella kuusisakarainen tähti; kaikki hopeaa.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 26, 1950.

The arms show a kiln and the symbol of iron, both symbols for the metal industry and school in the town. The starsa re taken from the provincial arms.
