Escudo de prata, bilha de vermelho acompanhada de dois ramos de hera, de verde, cruzados em ponta. Coroa mural de prata de quatros torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro em maiúsculas : “ CANEÇAS “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 20, 1995.
The jug is a symbol for the famous water from the village, which (historically) was sold in similar jugs. The ivy refers to the green fields in the parish.
