REDA
Province: Pomorze
County: Wejherowo
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on February 6, 1996.
The arms show the local church dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose tower is a distinctive feature of the city. The three hills symbolize the hills located in the area of Reda, as well as the three parts of the city itself: Ciechocino, Pieleszewo and Reda. The color blue in the base symbolizes the river Reda.
Previously the city used a coat of arms from 1967, showing a silver chief a colored flower, a symbol for Kashubian embroidery, and in the main shield a white wall and a gold letter "R" on a blue field.
