(de) In Silber eine rote Zinnenmauer, in der Mitte ein Burgtor mit Treppengiebel. Im offenen silbernen Tor ein schwarzer, rotbewehrter Doppeladler.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 8, 1973.

The arms show the former Castle Friedeburg with the eagle taken from the historical arms of the Amt Friedeburg, which existed until 1859.
