In Rot eine silberne Lilie.
Origin/meaning
Sasbachried belonged until 1903 to the State and diocese of Strassburg (now Strasbourg, France). From 1803-1972 it was a separate municipality.
Until 1913 the municipality used a seal with the letters SR. In 1913 the State Archives proposed new arms for the municipality, with the silver lily. The lily is the symbol of the patron saint of the village, St. Anthony. The colours are the colours of the diocese of Strassburg.
