Sinsheim was first mentioned as a city in 1234 and became a free imperial city in the late 13<sup>th</sup> century. The oldest seal dates from the same time already shows the imperial eagle. All later seals and images have shown the eagle as the arms of Sinsheim ever since.

Sinsheim was first mentioned as a city in 1234 and became a free imperial city in the late 13th century. The oldest seal dates from the same time already shows the imperial eagle. All later seals and images have shown the eagle as the arms of Sinsheim ever since.
