Kilpi nelilohkoinen, hopea-punainen; kussakin kentässä vuorovärinen, kultaemiöinen viisilehtinen kukka.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 6, 1952.
The shield division refers to the two lakes Päijänne and Vesijärvi and the small waterway between them. The flowers refer to the cultivation of flax and potatoes in the municipality.
