- (fr) Écartelé: aux 1er et 4e d'argent à trois jumelles en bande de gueules, au 2e de sinople au pot d'or, au 3e de sinople à la roue crantée d'argent.
Origin/meaning
The quartered shield is the arms of the de Fontenay family, former lords of the village. The pot refers to the formerly important potteries, the wheel to the local car factory (Citroën).
