  • (sv) I blått fält två från en ginpost utskjutande gångjärnsbeslag; allt av silver.

1982

  • (fi) Sinisessä kentässä aaltokoroinen tyviö ja kolme lukkopeltiä asetettuina 2:1, kaikki hopeaa.
  • (sv) I blått fält medelst en vågskura bildad stam och tre låsplåtar ställda 2:1, allt av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 1 1982.

The locks are taken from the old arms and redesigned, The number three refers to the three former municipalities. The wavy base refers to the Bergö archipelago and coastal municipality.

The previous arms were officially granted on February 4, 1965.
