In neunmal von Silber und Blau geteiltem Schilde eine rote Salbenbüchse mit goldenem Kreuz und goldenen Zierstäben.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 17, 1968.

The bars are taken from the arms of the Duchy of Luxembourg, to which the area historically belonged. The ointment tin is the symbol of St. Mary Magdalen, the local patron saint.
