Escudo de ouro, laranjeira arrancada de verde e frutada de vermelho; em chefe, três bestas de vermelho, cordoadas e realçadas de negro, postas em pala e alinhadas em faixa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: "BESTEIROS - AMARES".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 5, 2002.
The crossbows in chief are a canting element, a crossbow is a besta in Portuguese, a besteiro is a person holding a crossbow.
The orange tree refers to the orange groves in the municipality.
