I blått fält en från av en vågskura bildad, blå stam uppskjutande, genomgående treberg av guld och över detta en sol av samma metall.
Origin/meaning
The Arms was officially granted to the Borough of Älvsbyn in 1948. The Wavy base and the Trippelmount symbolises the Rivers and Mountains fo the Area.
The Sun alludes to the Gold Finding marked on the Carta Marina of Olaus Magnus.
