Origin/meaning
The Badge shows the Ship itself. She was launched in 1797 and is still commissioned as a US Navy Ship. USS Constitution is normaly to be found berthed at the former Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston, but as late as 2012 she sailed on her own Power to commemorate the 200th anniversary of her victory over HMS Guerriere.
