Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 21, 2002.
The arms show a typical local fishing boat, indicating the importance of the sea and fishing for the municipality. The sea and the sun also indicate the good climate and conditions for tourism in the area.
The previous arms were granted on June 5, 2001 and only differ in the crown.
