Escudo de verde, canto de prata movente de uma campanha de cinco burelas ondeadas de azul e prata; em chefe, um ferro de enxada de prata entre uma mó de moinho do mesmo e uma bilheta de ouro; nos flancos, à dextra, uma bilheta de ouro e, à sinistra, uma mó de moinho de prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ VILA VERDE “.
