Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 22, 1948.
The arms are based on an 18th century seal of Rodalben and Petersberg. The griffin is derived from the arms of the Margraves of Baden, who ruled the village at the time. The griffin is a supporter of the Baden arms.
