Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 3, 1953.
The arms are bassed on the seal of the nearby city of Werth, as the village itself never had arms or seals. When needed, the local council used the seals of Werth. The arms show a castle and a small shield with a lion with the arms of Van der Leck (see Werth).
