Origin/meaning
The arms were never officially granted, but have been used since the late 19th century.
The meaning, and species, of the plant is unknown. Most likely the plant is a linden tree, as there has been a local court in the village since the late 16th century. The linden is a symbol for justice.
The plant has also been explained as a berry or potato, but there is no historical evidence thereof.
