Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 15, 1926.

The arms are based on the arms of the Kriegsfeld court from 1622. The knight is a canting element (Krieger). The wreath is of unknown meaning or origin, but has been described as a Pechkranz (unlucky-wreath). The colouors are not historical and were determined in 1926.
