Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 16, 1958.
The village was a possession of the Margraves of Ansbach, who were represented locally by the Lords von Lentersheim. The arms thus show in the chief the quartered shield of the Hohenzollern dynasty for Ansbah, and the arms of the Lords von Lentersheim.
