Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 7, 2000.
The arms show a part of a necklace made of mother-of-pearl and dating from prehistoric times. The necklace was found in the village in 1938. The two fish refer to the former importance of fish cultivation in the many small ponds in the municipality.
