Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 30, 1968.

The upper half shows the arms of the Blumenegg Estate to which Ludesch historically belonged. The base shows a reversed letter A, which is the historical village and forestery symbol of Ludesch. Its meaning is not known.
