Official blazon
Van keel met een tegenstaand getinneerd dwarsbalk, vergezeld van drie sterren met zes stralen, alles van goud - het schild overtopt met een helm van zilver, getralied, gehalsband en omboord van goud, gevoerd en gehecht van azuur, met wrong en dekkleden van keel en van goud. Helmteken: een uitkomende griffioen van goud, gewapend en getongd van keel.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 31, 1961.
The arms are those of the De Heere family, last Lords of Oostvleteren in the 18th century.
