LENSAHN
State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Ostholstein
Amt : Amt Lensahn
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 13, 1950.
The upper half shows a deer skull and antler, symbol of the many forests and animals in the region. The wheat ear symbolises the importance of agriculture in the municipality. The lower left half shows the red and golden bars of the State of Oldenburg, as the village was part of the Lensahner Hof estate, which was part of the State of Oldenburg until 1928.
