KAISERSTUHL
Canton : Aargau
Incorporated into : 2022 Zurzach
Official blazon
Zur Rechten sechsmal geständert von Blau und Rot.
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on June 17, 1953.
The arms are known since 1514 as city arms, in the colours red and silver. The city was part of the State of Konstanz and used the cross of the Diocese of Konstanz on its seals. The origin of the city arms is not clear, but the silver colour of Konstanz, was replaced by the blue of the Aargau/Zürich in 1953.
