Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 7, 1997.
The first quarter refers to brewing and especially to Wernesgrün. The tower and the wanderer refer to the nature in the municipality and the Steinberg tower. The church in the third quarter is the church of Rothenkirchen.
