Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 12th May 1982.
Canting arms: they show a valley ("vall" in Catalan). The wavy bar at the base symbolizes the Riera de Vall-llobrega that flows through the village, and the chess rook Or on Azure is taken from the arms of the Requesens, counts of Palamós; Vall-llobrega belonged to this county.
