In Rot über drei goldenen Spitzen eine silberne Waage über einem silbernen Spiegel in goldenem Rahmen Laufzeit Origin/meaning The above arms were proposed in 1956 and granted in 1960. The arms are based on the oldest seal of the village, dating from 1713. The symbols probably indicate the local court held in the village in the Middle Ages. Literature: Hessisches Wappenbuch, 1956
