Origin/meaning

The wolf head is taken as a symbol of St. Blaise, the local patron saint. The oak tree is a canting element for the Gascon name of the village, "Lasseuva Propra", which means noble forest. The base shows the three rivers in the municipality, the Gers, Cédon and Sousson.
