In Rot, auf einem silbernen Berg stehend, ein goldener nimbierter Ritter ohne Helm, mit silbernem Schwert, in der rechten Hand eine silberne Lanze haltend, daran befestigt eine silberne Fahne mit rotem Kreuz und die linke Hand auf einem silbernen Schild mit rotem Kreuz gestützt, links oben begleitet von einem silbernen Krebs.

Origin/meaning

In the 12th century a monastery devoted to St. George was founded near the village. The town later thus adopted St. George on the local seals, which are known since the 16th century.

At present the municipality uses a lobster next to the saint. Previously, this was a star, as can be seen in the image below.
