WIEN-FÜNFHAUS
State : Wien (Vienna)
Origin/meaning
Fünfhaus was a tiny hamlet, consisting of five houses (Fünfhaus). The lands were owned by the College St Michael, the Vienna house of the Barnabite Order. For this reason, St Michael the Archangel was put into the arms.
The arms of Sechshaus are practically identical, as it also was owned of the same College.
The region is now part of the 15th municipal district, Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus.
