BÖZTAL

Canton : Aargau
Additions : 2022 Bözen, Effingen, Elfingen, Hornussen

Wappen von Böztal/Arms (crest) of Böztal

Official blazon

In Weiss über drei grünen Hügeln blaue Traube an grünem Stiel mit rechtsständiger Ranke und linkständigem Blatt, beseitet von vier fünfstrahligen roten Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The grapes refer to the viticulture, which is of great importance in all for former municipalities. The four stars symbolise the four former municipalities and the base indicates the hilly landscape.

A second proposal was rejected in a village referendum, showing the same symbolism, but in blue and silver only.
