Canton : Fribourg
Additions : 2016 Domdidier, Dompierre, Léchelles (1994 Chandon), Russy
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 2015.
The arms symbolise in the upper half the merger of the four former municipalities. The pieces are shown in the colours of the Fribourg Canton.
The base is canting, Belmont means 'beautiful mountain' and the Broye is a local river, symbolised by the wavy bar.
