LYSSACH
Canton : Bern
Official blazon
- (de) In Schwarz zwei silberne Lilien
Origin/meaning
The arms are devised in 1922 and are canting, showing two fleur-de-lis. The two flowers symbolise the two parts of the municipality. The colours are taken from the arms of the Burgdorf District.

The State Archives of Bern indicated in 1922 that there was also an older coat of arms known for Lyssach, with three black lozenges in pale. As these arms were 'not pleasing to the eye' the State Archives proposed the arms above.
Literature: Wappenbuch des Kantons Bern, 1981.
