RUDOLSTADT (RU)
State : Thüringen
Incorporated into : 1994 Saalfeld-Rudolstadt
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were not officially granted.
The arms show in the upper part a quartered shield in the colours of the Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. The lion is the lion of the Counts of Käfernburg-Schwarzburg, whereas the comb and fork are old symbols for the principality and were also used in the arms thereof.
