Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 2020.
The heart and sword refer to St. Valentine, the patron saint of the village. The oak tree symbolises the local forests and the wavy bars the Ource river. The boar is a symbol for the old Gauls and refers to the long history of inhabitation of the village. The sword refers to the sarcophaguses from the 6th-8th century discovered in the area.
