Département : Meuse

Blason de Brabant-en-Argonne/Arms (crest) of Brabant-en-Argonne
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 18, 2018.

The thistle evokes the 'Brabant' toponym that comes from the old Dutch Brac, unoccupied land, which is often overgrown with thistles.

The wavy bar represents the Cousance river and the green the fields and meadows in the village.

The grill, the drops and the red field symbolize the martyrdom of Saint Faithe (Sainte Foy).
