HESTROFF

Département : Moselle

Blason de Hestroff/Arms (crest) of Hestroff
Official blazon
French De gueules à l'agneau d'argent surmonté de trois coquilles du même rangées en chef.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on December 14, 1948.

The arms show an Agnus Dei for the local patron saint, St. John Baptist. The scallops are taken from the arms of the Sierck estate, to which the area historically belonged.
