Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 14, 2021.

The stone bridge (pont) over the (Madon) river is a canting element. The plums in chief refer to the importance of horticulture in the area. The alder leaves refer to the local forests.

The colours are those of Lorraine and the chapter of Rémiremont, to which the village historically belonged.
