Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on January 30, 2019.
The dolmen is a local landmark and indicates the long history of the area. The crosier refers to St. Claire, the local patron saint. The blue colour symbolises the Vienne river and the bordure is taken from the arms of the Indre-et-Loire département.
