Badge: Per bend sinister Azure and Gules a bend sinister Or, overall a moose’s head couped proper.
Motto: Nulli Secundus = Second to none.
Origin/meaning
This arrangement of blue, yellow and red is found on other service battalion badges. The moose head represents both New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador, as moose are found in abundance in these provinces. The badge was Approved by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on 15 July 2015.
