Badge: Argent an osprey volant proper holding in its claws a billet Sable above barry wavy Azure and Argent strewn with five billets Sable. Moot: Sectabimur usque per ima = We will hunt them even through the lowest deeps

Origin/meaning

The osprey is a great fisherman and alludes to the wartime role of the squadron. The billets represent depth charges and also refer to the six submarines sunk by the squadron. The wavy bars illustrate the ocean over which the squadron operated. The badge was Confirmed by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on 20 November 2008.
