RING-FØVLING

Arms of Ring-Føvling

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1949.

The arms show two cranes as a symbol for the many birds in the municipality. The cranes, as birds (fugl) are also canting for Føvling village. The waves are canting for Ring, derived from a rinde, or brook.
